The Romanian Orthodox Church During and After Communism

Rev. Prof. PhD. Viorel SAVA is professor of Liturgy and director of the Doctoral School at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology „Dumitru Stăniloae”, Iaşi. He has personally witnessed the years of the Ceaușescu regime and the transition of Romania from a country under communist rule to a member state of the European Union together with the changes that the Orthodox Church underwent in his lifetime.
