Theology goes public
Theology for a wide audience
Religion on Thursday
The public lecture series "Religion on Thursday" is dedicated to the topic of religion and health in the 2025 summer semester.
The focus is on questions relating to the connections between spirituality nourished by religious traditions and individual and institutional understandings of health in the past and present. Which anthropological ideas shape the term "health", how specific understandings of the body shape the way we deal with vulnerability phenomena and how these ideas are related to religiously motivated practices and rituals will be discussed in interdisciplinary lectures and discussions. Experts primarily from various theological but also religious studies and medical-ethical disciplines will provide food for thought and action on current relevant issues from theory and practice.

TheoLab
The TheoLab (formerly Workshop Talks) gives pupils an insight into an exciting and topical subject in theology as well as information about study programmes and career opportunities.

Diesseits von Eden (German podcast)
Theology is talking about God in this time and in this world. But which God are we actually talking about? And what do we mean when we talk about the "world"? In order to be both contemporary and critical, theology must therefore be willing to learn and engage with social debates and issues.
This is exactly what the theological faculties of Austria and South Tyrol want to do with this podcast.

Theology in cultural dialogue
In an increasingly complex society, which in some areas of life is faced with the need to make completely new ethical decisions, in a culture that increasingly incorporates global aspects, and in a state in which the consensus reached in recent decades is increasingly up for debate, the Faculty of Catholic Theology in Graz sees itself as a forum that consciously cultivates the dialogue of theology with its cultural context and environment. The series "Theology in Cultural Dialogue", published by Tyrolia-Verlag, is committed not only to the academic field, but to society as a whole.
