Well Connected
At the UZT and beyond
Our students usually spend a good part of their time at the UZT - Theology Building at Heinrichstraße 78, just a few minutes' walk from the main university building: Here you find lecture halls and seminar rooms, the faculty library, the offices of the institutes, and a green outdoor area.
Apart from regular courses, you can avail of a whole range of opportunities to meet up with fellow students and other interested institutions. Here are some tips for newcomers.

Always the latest info: News and events
The newsletter of the Faculty of Theology is published four times a year.
The ÖH Theologie supports students with questions about studying and is the contact point for those seeking advice. It represents students in faculty and university committees.
Not far from the UZT is the Center for Theology Students, which offers pastoral care for theology students as well as a variety of events and joint activities. The Theozentrum is the contact point for the additional training for pastoral assistants. Every Wednesday we have lunch together there.
Also just a few minutes away is the KHG - Catholic University Community in Leechgasse. As a meeting place between the church and the universities of the diocese of Graz-Seckau, it offers an interesting program and is an ideal place to network with culturally/socially interested people in Graz. The KHG also has its own dormitory in the Leechgasse and rooms in the seminary premises.
The House of Encounter of the Benedictine Abbey of Admont in Johann-Fux-Gasse offers students connection to a lively community.
During the academic year, the Monday praise service, which is organized together with students, takes place every Monday at noon on the premises of the UZT (meditation room on the 2nd floor).
The faculty services, which take place at the beginning and end of the semester or on important feast days, provide a festive framework for the academic year.
Every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. during the semester, students are cordially invited to the student service in the Leechkirche.
The Association for the Promotion of Theology, which includes external sponsors, professors and students, supports the activities of the faculty.
Graduates of theology in Graz are invited to join the THEO club of alumni UNI graz.
For students with psychological problems, learning disorders or in a crisis situation, the psychological
student counseling offers a wide range of assistance.
